I was trying to think of things that little griffins might do. And what's better than Saturday morning cartoons?

Granted, I'm actually not certian that Saturday morning cartoons even exist anymore... But if they did, that'd be something that little griffins would absolutely do.

And no, I do not have one of those big tube TVs.

Anymore.

It was broken anyways.

MORE GRIFFINS!!!!!

Blackberry won a race and is rubbing it in Chip's face.

ALSO. I found out that the local art institute is having an art show! Entries are due by September 22 and I'M GOING TO DO IT.

This is what I am going to paint! I love photography and AV and I have a whole horde of vintage film cameras so I'm going to paint a whole slew of them!

It's going to be tough to finish up in time, but I'M GOING TO DO IT.

I'M NOT EVEN TRYING TO HYPE MYSELF UP FOR THIS AT ALL.

This is a two day spread. First I drew Lemonade on the left. Then the next day I thought that Blackberry would probably be the kind of guy who would be into doing what everybody else is. Because he's all little and cute!

Congratulations to me! I've made it through SIX months of sketching!

Here's Lemonade looking over a fence. I think her beak is a little too pointy. She's supposed to still be snuggly and cute...

This is quite possibly my FAVORITE sketch ever.

Lemonade (on the left) and Chips (on the right) are at the beach posing for photos!

And yes, I did start naming the griffins... I wasn't going to but then once I started to do more than one they needed names. So they're being named after foods... There's something adorable about giant scary griffins named after breakfast foods.

Of course, they're all cute and adorable NOW but ONE day they're going to be big and scary!

It's summertime, which means that little griffins are going on camp outs! And what's the best thing to do on  a camp out?

Tell ghost stories, that's what!!

The little chubby griffin is telling some littler griffins some very scary stories. They have to hold hands because it's too scary! The little spotty griffin has to tell her friend that it's going to be okay because it's only a story.

Why yes! I did think about this extensively! How could you tell?
