Work was really slow today so I may or may not have done some doodles....

I've been trying to recreate a drawing I did way back in 2005 or so.... I've never gotten it :(

AV and I just read Percy Jackson and The Lightning Thief. It was pretty excellent!

This is kind of what I thought Grover looked like while I was reading.

Apparently nobody else really got this feeling about Grover... Or at least just not the people who made the movie or the comic book.

AV claims to have seen a firetruck with a logo of two water-breathing dragons on it. I did not see it. I think he was lying >_<

I wanted to draw a Chinese inspired dragon (I feel like those are the guys that would be able to breathe water) but I think he came out looking like all my other puppy dragons...

Don't worry, he's breathing water, not vomiting.

Today we went to McCarthy's Wildlife Sanctuary! They had tigers, lions, pumas, jaguars, monkeys, exotic birds, and lemurs. And a few other little guys.

To commemorate the event, I drew a LION!

For some reason my house has a stink... I don't know what it is... I think it might be because the house is really old and I suspect there's something weird under the carpeting :( We need to solve the problem but that will probably take the big bucks which we don't really have right now :(

So... yeah. I hate the house stink.

Also, half of our windows are glued shut and the rest have no screens (catters aren't allowed to go outside)... So I can't really open any to air it out.

Today I have three sketches!

Puss in Boots!

AV and I are on a Shrek marathon! We've seen Shrek, Shrek 2, Shrek the Third, and Puss in Boots. All we've got left is Shrek the Final Chapter, which the library does not have so we have to pay to rent it at the movie store.

Next, another sketch of The Princess.

Last time she was fatter than I see her being, this time she's weirdly skinny :/

And last, we have a griffin going camping! He's busily watching the sparks in the fire :D

Three drawings today! Aren't you just the luckiest??

AV's request makes an appearance today! He requested "a monkey reading". So, of course, the first thing I thought of was "a mokey reading a newspaper on the toilet."

What can I say, the mind works in mysterious ways.

Next is a character from the show/miniseries I was watching:

And finally, based on another request, a demon-boy.

I finally watched UP!

It was quite possibly one of the saddest movies I have ever seen. While the animation was really excellent, I'm just not a fan of a movie that makes me cry in the first ten minutes :/

And yes, I do know it was supposed to be uplifting or whatever at the end, but I just found it ridiculously sad :(

But, here's the house, I did think that was pretty sweet :)
