Today is my birthday!

So since I drew Mavis yesterday, AV thought I should do her bat version.

Today I have two sketches... But the first one is kind of like an awkward practice for the really awesome second one...

First I drew a chipmonk (requested by AV) but then I made it into a lovely lovely lady chipmonk!

THEN! I drew what I think Mavis from Hotel Transylvannia should have looked like :D

I thought she should have been a little more "punk rock" and a little less "Emily the Strange". Also I hate Emily the Strange so there was that as a negative point as well :/

BTW those are bats in the background!

I've not been doing a great job of updating on the blog (obviously)....

So today I drew a bunny with a bow on it. Because who wouldn't like to see a bunny in a gigantic comical bow-tie?

I also drew a girl with some Day of the Dead makeup :D

I want to find some good stage makeup to do some costume photos with... but I cannot STAND grease paint and I don't know any other options. Any help?

Where we live, there is a huge event in December for Christmas. A lot of people dress up in Victorian outfits for it. So I was looking at some stuff so maybe AV and I could dress up this year!

The website I was looking at didn't have very cute women's wear. I was pretty disappointed, it was kind of boring actually :(

We watched Snow White and the Huntsman today. I thought it would have been better with a different leading lady...

But I did LOVE the evil queen's outfits!!

I was glad that they had the outfit at the end with the huge collar, it was so reminiscent of the original Disney Snow White.
